. NORTH CAROLINA HOME SALES POST SMALLEST DECLINE SINCE 2007
North Carolina existing home sales posted the smallest decline since August 2007 in June with a 17 percent decrease in total units sold compared to the previous year. The percent decline for average sold price was the smallest posted since October 2008.
According to statistics compiled by the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®, total units sold for the month were 8,155, total dollar sales were $1,724,484,455 and the average existing home sales price was down 6 percent to $211,463 compared to June 2008.
