For almost two decades, I have been the proud spouse of an active duty Marine.  Being an involved mother to my three children and creating a warm, attractive, and peaceful home for our family is my focus outside of my career.  I enjoy antiquing, gardening, and reading.  My favorite author, whom I was able to meet, is Nicolas Sparks. I have been referred to by my family as nostalgic as I love to indulge in family research/genealogy.  In doing family research, I read an obituary for my grandfather three generations back, “He was a gentleman of the highest character and was upright and square in all his dealings with his fellowmen.”  I always strive to adhere to the standards and character that were set by him before me.
